Praia dos Ingleses

Considered one of the most famous beaches in the region, the Ingleses Beach or Zinga, as it is popularly known, offers a unique experience for tourists, with its crystal clear waters, white sands and incredible infrastructure to meet all visitors' needs.

With a privileged location, Praia dos Ingleses is bordered by two impressive points, Ponta dos Ingleses and Ponta da Feiticeira, and connects to the Praia do Santinho through a set of stunning dunes.

In addition to its natural beauty, Praia dos Ingleses has a rich history in fishing, being the record holder for mullet hauls, with more than 80,000 mullets in a single haul. Nowadays, although fishing activity has decreased, the beach is famous for its extensive hotel and service infrastructure.

Praia dos Ingleses is approximately 40km from the center of Florianópolis and is 4,830 meters long, with a width that varies from 30 to 50 meters, due to work to widen the sand strip that took place at the beginning of 2023, offering ample space for visitors to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the region.

For those who enjoy nature and culture, it is worth visiting the Museum of Lithic Workshops, in the right corner of the beach (south corner) and also take the Morro dos Ingleses Trail, which starts near the museum and goes to the Santinho Beach.
