Here, you'll find everything from antique weapons that have withstood the test of time to precious pieces collected by Major Lara Ribas between 1938 and 1945. As you wander through the museum's rooms, you'll be immersed in the stories told through replica uniforms, evocative photographs and honorable insignia. The museum is currently closed for renovations, and only external visits are possible!

There are unconfirmed reports that suggest that Lieutenant Joaquim José da Silva Xavier, better known as Tiradentes, a key figure in the Inconfidência Mineira, served here between 1777 and 1779. During that time, he acted as an officer sent by the Portuguese court to reinforce the defenses of Santa Catarina Island against potential Spanish invasions. The mystique of this historic connection adds an extra touch of allure to the already intriguing Fort Santana.
