What to do

Gravatá Beach

About the attraction

Located in the eastern region of the island, the Gravatá Beach is a beach attached to Praia Mole, with exclusive access through trail of low difficulty level (1,250 meters). With a length of around 60 meters, the beach is an ideal destination for those looking for a more reserved environment and contact with nature.

With crystal clear waters and clear sand, Praia do Gravatá is surrounded by native vegetation, including the Gravatás, which give the beach its name. The beach is also known for its rocks, which form small natural pools, ideal for swimming, and a natural art gallery, with rocks shaped like animals, beds, among others.

The beach is also a base for fishermen, especially during the mullet season (May 15th to July 31st).

Praia do Gravatá is an easily accessible location, with parking and restaurant and bar options on Avenida das Rendeiras or Binário da Avenida das Rendeiras, both approximately 300 meters away from the start of the trail.

Attached to Mole Beach, Praia do Gravatá offers a unique experience for those looking for a more peaceful and reserved environment. With its natural beauty and strategic location, Praia do Gravatá is an unmissable destination for anyone visiting Florianópolis.
