Boa Vista trail

The trail starts at Barra da Lagoa and, after passing through a stone viewpoint, takes visitors to the top of the trail, where you can enjoy the eastern beaches, the Galheta Beach, Mole Beach and a privileged view of the Conceição Lagoon. But the wonders don't stop there, you can also observe the dunes that start at Avenida das Rendeiras and go all the way to Joaquina Beach.

The trail ends at the stunning Galheta Beach, where it is possible to take a refreshing dip after the walk or it is possible to finish the trail at Fortaleza da Barra, close to the canal and then enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants in the region.

But be careful: The vegetation along the trail is low and scattered, so don't forget to use sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. And pay attention to the Gravatás, a creeping plant with many thorns, so wear clothing that protects your body.

Tip: To start the Boa Vista Trail, you must cross the “suspension bridge” of the Boa Vista canal. Barra da Lagoa and turn right. Follow the signs and then stay on the main path.

 Parking information: If you are driving, you can count on free parking spaces and private parking, close to the “suspension bridge” of Canal da Barra.
