Carnival of Saint Anthony of Lisbon

The traditional Santo Antônio de Lisboa Carnival returns with five days of festivities, culture and lots of fun for all ages. From February 28 to March 4, the historic neighborhood of Florianópolis will become one of the main stages of the city's street carnival, with free programming open to the public.

The party starts on Friday with performances by Bloco Gambá Xeiroso, Zawaju's batuque, the group Sem Abuso and DJ Felipe Corrêa in charge of the turntables. On Saturday, Baile DaVince will get the crowd going with a mix of rhythms, followed by pagode by Grupo Tentação, a vibrant show by Amandah Amancio and another performance by DJ Felipe Corrêa.

On Sunday, the band Dazaranha will be present, bringing its local sound to the party. The traditional Bloco Zé Pereira, the band Vegaz and DJ Felipe Corrêa complete the day's program. On Monday, the Bloco Gambá Xeiroso returns, followed by the contagious energy of Diana Dias, singer Cadu Duarte and DJ Felipe Corrêa.

To end on a high note, Tuesday is dedicated to families and children, with the Children's Dance, the Boi de Mamão de Santo Antônio de Lisboa show, the Los Nanicos show and a great Arrastão de Blocos, ensuring the party until the last minute.
