A Florianópolis LGBTI+ Pride Parade 2024 is coming, with the theme: Enough negligence, our rights now! This year, the Parade celebrates its 17th edition, marking 17 years of resistance, unity and visibility. More than a party, this event is an act of freedom, a cry that resounds through the streets in response to the challenges and neglect still faced. Each step taken on the avenue reaffirms the existence and visibility of the community, showing that they will not be silenced.
Despite limited resources, the community's struggle and love are priceless. The Pride Parade continues, because history is made of courage and unity. The message is clear: the LGBTI+ community is ready to resist, love and be who they are, regardless of any power that tries to erase their voice. THEY EXIST AND THEY RESIST!
