In an emotional and intimate show, Amaro Freitas and Zé Manoel celebrate the legendary album “Corner Club” (1972) with a piano and voice show at the Ademir Rosa Theater (CIC), part of the TUM Festival 2024 program. The performance takes place on November 7th, at 9 pm, bringing to light the musical legacy of the iconic group from Minas Gerais led by Milton Nascimento, Lô Borges and other great names in Brazilian music. The show's repertoire mixes MPB, bossa nova, progressive rock, jazz and traditional music, reviving songs that marked the history of music in Brazil.
With the unique piano of Amaro Freitas and the soft voice of Zé Manoel, classics such as “Everything You Could Be”, “Pier”, “The Blue Train” It is “A Sunflower the Color of Your Hair” gain new interpretations, keeping alive the revolutionary essence of “Corner Club”. The album, considered one of the best of all time, continues to enchant generations and receives a special reinterpretation in this presentation.
The TUM Festival, which takes place between November 2nd and 9th, 2024, reaches its 7th edition with the theme “Everything Pulsates. The Future of Music, The Future of Life”.
