Carnival 2024 dates in Florianópolis
Unlike previous years, Carnival in 2024 will be special, taking place on the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th of February, covering Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Write it down on your calendar and get ready to get lost in the magic of Carnival!
The Nego Quirido Catwalk Show
The stunning Nego Quirido Passarela, the city's Sambadrome, will be the main stage for this grand spectacle. Renowned schools, such as Academicos do Sul da Ilha, União da Ilha de Magia, Embaixada Copa Lord, Os Protefeitos da Princesa, Coloninha, Dascuia, Jardim das Palmeiras, Nação Gurari and Império Vermelho e Branco, promise to shine on the avenue, providing a true spectacle of colors, rhythm and emotion.

01/02 – Pre-Carnival – Choice of the Carnival Court 2024: Find out who will lead Carnival in Floripa in 2024! The pre-carnival event is the perfect opportunity to feel the contagious vibe that is to come. Everyone is invited to get into the groove and celebrate Carnival in style on Passarela Nego Quirido from 7pm.
02/02 – Berbigão do Boca – Official Opening of Floripa Carnival: Find out more here.
03/02 – Pre-Carnival: Blessing of the Nego Quirido Catwalk: Take part in the traditional blessing of the avenue from 8pm. An ecumenical ceremony, with a strong presence of Candomblé, seeking harmony and protection for all participants.
