Museum Café: A Culinary Experience at Praça XV in Florianópolis

O Museum Café, located in the building attached to the Museum of Florianopolis, offers a unique gastronomic experience. This is the ideal place for an espresso, a quick snack or even a full meal. Come and explore the Café do Museu de Florianópolis and delve into its themed menu, part of which is dedicated to authentic island cuisine.

The Museum Café captivates customers with a wide selection of sweets, savory snacks, drinks and soups. In the themed menu, inspired by the island's rich cuisine, a variety of snacks received affectionate and manezinho names, adding a special local touch.

If you want to try the traditional crab cakes, kindly ask for a “Dazumbanho”. The meat ball earned the nickname “Ó-lhó-lhó”, while the fish ball with shrimp is known as “You’re a monster”. Even mineral water was affectionately nicknamed “Se tu dix”.

Opening Hours: During the period from December to February, the Museum Café is open from Monday to Friday, from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm, and on weekends and holidays, from 11 am to 3 pm. From March to November, the opening hours are adjusted to Monday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, and on weekends and holidays, from 11 am to 3 pm. Please remember that the Museum Café is closed to the public on Tuesdays.
