Florianopolis Botanical Garden

About the attraction

O Florianópolis Botanical Garden Park It is an incredible place for an ecological tour in the heart of the Capital of Santa Catarina, occupying an area of 19 hectares in the Itacorubi neighborhood. Since its inauguration in 2016, it has been an excellent option for those looking for contact with nature and a peaceful and relaxing environment.

Right at the entrance, visitors are welcomed by a beautiful lake with a small trail around it, which leads to other areas of the park. In the center of the park, there are several tables and chairs for those who want to have a picnic, as food is allowed.

In addition, the park has a reference community garden, where visitors can learn in practice how to make compost. There are also several themed spaces, such as the rocky and cactus garden, the sunflower garden, the rose garden and the hammock. The Fritz Müller Arboretum is an attraction in itself, with several plants that the naturalist studied.

On weekends, the park offers a series of activities, including exhibitions, spaces for contemplation and physical activities, environmental education actions, guided tours and donation of seedlings. All this makes the Florianópolis Botanical Garden a great place to spend a day with family or friends.

Tip: Take the opportunity to visit the Viewpoint of Morro da Lagoa da Conceição, located 7.5 km away, and be dazzled by the panoramic view of the Lagoon.
