Córrego Grande Ecological Park

About the attraction

O Municipal Ecological Park Prof. David Ferreira Lima, or Forest Garden as it is affectionately known, it is a verdant oasis located in the heart of the Córrego Grande neighborhood, in Florianópolis. Since its opening in 1994, it has enchanted visitors of all ages with its tranquil atmosphere and rich biodiversity across its 22 hectares of land.

Despite having limited parking, with just 20 spaces, the park is accessible to everyone. Within its boundaries, visitors can venture along serene trails, explore its two picturesque lakes, and take an invigorating spin on the 0.7-mile walking trail. For the little ones, there is a playground to play and have fun.

The highlight of the park is its incredible diversity of native flora and fauna, offering visitors the opportunity to observe an impressive variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Furthermore, the park serves as an environmental education center, where courses and workshops on conservation and recycling are offered, promoting ecological awareness among visitors.

With its shaded paths and peaceful atmosphere, the Córrego Grande Ecological Park is a perfect place to enjoy a day outdoors in contact with nature, ideal for tourists looking for moments of relaxation and connection with the environment.
