This church represents a significant historical landmark, having been solemnly inaugurated in 1929, as part of the Colony's Centenary celebrations. The headquarters underwent a thorough restoration process in 1979 and receives visitors every day. In the church courtyard rest the tombs of the parish priests who dedicated years of service to the city.
