Rio Vermelho Waterfall trail

About the attraction

If you are looking for adventure and lush landscapes, you need to know Rio Vermelho Waterfall trail! Located in the stunning town of Vargem do Braço, in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, within the Serra do Tabuleiro State Park, this trail leads to a set of three waterfalls, one of which is an incredible 40 meters high and the other two are 30 and 20 meters high, respectively. The name “Rio Vermelho Waterfall” comes from the reddish tone that the stones give to the water, which is extremely transparent.
