Morro das Aranhas Trail

Discover the exciting Morro das Aranhas Trail, located in the north of Florianópolis, which starts from the stunning Praia do Santinho, close to the famous Costão do Santinho resort. To start this adventure, simply follow the sand towards the resort (to the right of the beach), until you reach a picturesque deck that takes you up the hill. Don't forget to stop to admire the fascinating rock inscriptions found along the deck!

After the deck, you will have two options: continue straight to Praia do Moçambique or climb the hill to reach the Morro das Aranhas viewpoint. The journey to the top of Morro das Aranhas is about 1.4 km. Get ready for an invigorating walk, predominantly amid lush vegetation, providing shade and a pleasant atmosphere throughout the entire route. Although the trail is a little steep, the route is well marked and offers an unforgettable experience.

Along the way, you will be treated to natural viewpoints that offer stunning views of the region's famous beaches, such as Praia dos Ingleses and Praia do Moçambique.

The complete trail takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, ensuring an adventure for all skill levels. Be sure to wear comfortable and appropriate clothing, including light clothing, sturdy shoes, a hat and tall socks to protect against possible obstacles along the way.
