According to IMMA Floripa – who manages the trail – these stones have marked the solstices and equinoxes over the centuries, remaining in their positions for perhaps millennia. At the highest point of the trail, you will also find the 'Mirante da Baleia', offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the stunning Conceição Lagoon and its surroundings.
