Run for Fun – HAPPENING: Race + Dance

Running, music, beach, and fun meet at Run for Fun – HAPPENING: Race + Dance, which arrives in Garopaba on October 3, 2026.

In its first edition in the city, the proposal departs from the traditional format of sports competitions: here, the idea is not to compete for the best time, but run for fun and live a group experience. The event combines physical activity, music, and socializing along a route on the beach. Garopaba's official calendar features the initiative as the city's first “Run + Dance” experience.

The planned route is approximately 4 km along the beach, starting in front of the Costeiro, going to the north corner and returning along the sand. Music accompanies the experience and, after the run, the schedule continues at the Costeiro Bar, with a time for socializing among the participants. The collection of is also planned 1 kg of non-perishable food per participant for donation.

More than just completing kilometers, the goal is to bring people together, encourage movement, and transform the run into a lighthearted, social, and fun seaside experience.
