Shipwrecked Beach

Located in the south of Santa Catarina Island, Shipwrecked Beach It's a true hidden treasure. Accessible only by trail or boat, the beach is an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and contact with nature.

The trail leading to Naufragados Beach is of moderate difficulty and takes about an hour. Along the way, you can observe the Atlantic Forest and spot animals such as birds and marmosets. Shipwrecked Beach received this name due to a sad episode in history. When Azorean immigrants settled in the region, their ships were wrecked near the beach. Since then, the region has been known as Shipwrecked Beach.

The beach is quite well-preserved and lacks much tourist infrastructure, which makes it even more special. In the area, you can find some simple restaurants that offer seafood and cold drinks to cool off from the heat.
