Located between the north and east of the island, the park is a true verdant oasis, with stunning trails that reveal lush landscapes. The local guides are friendly and experienced, ready to take you on an exciting journey to discover the region's rich flora and fauna.

In addition to trails, the park offers amenities such as restrooms, a snack bar, and an area specially prepared to receive school students. For the adventurous, the Rio Vermelho campsite is an excellent option for spending the night under the stars, immersed in nature.

The highlight of the visit is the exciting guided Ecological Trail of the Rio Vermelho Park (PAERVE Trail), where you can see up close species treated at the Wildlife Screening Center. The PAERVE trail is guided, with tours every 30 minutes, the first at 9:30 am and the last at 4:00 pm. The trail lasts approximately 50 minutes, with most of the route on a wooden deck, and costs R$15.00 (general public) and R$7.50 (students, seniors, and residents of the surrounding area).

The park has other trails, which are free, and is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
