Experience Paradise of Oysters

Share:

In the south of Florianópolis, in the Ribeirão da Ilha neighborhood, the Oyster Paradise This tour combines gastronomy, culture, and beautiful landscapes. The experience allows you to closely observe the entire oyster farming process, from production to tasting, including a speedboat ride through the sea of Florianópolis.

Did you know that Santa Catarina is the largest producer of oysters in Brazil, with approximately 90% coming from Florianópolis? And here at Paraíso das Ostras (Oyster Paradise), you have the chance to follow each stage of production and learn about the importance of sustainable farming. The farm, a pioneer in the city, was the first to receive the Municipal Inspection Seal and stands out for its rigorous quality control, including a certified purification process, guaranteeing fresh and safe oysters for consumption.

The highlight of the tour is the visit to the oyster farming structures at sea – known as the “Oyster Farm” – where visitors can observe the work of the oyster farmers up close and sample freshly harvested oysters, renowned for their unique flavor and high quality. To complete the experience, visitors can bring their own beverage to pair with the tasting, with no corkage fee.

The available tours are:
– Couple's tour: R$ 750
– Group tour (minimum of 4 people): R$ 187 per person
– Student tour (minimum of 6 people): R$ 125 per person

Each visitor receives four fresh oysters for tasting and experiences a bit of the local mariculture tradition.

Oyster Paradise is a must-see destination for those seeking a unique experience in Florianópolis, combining gastronomic tourism, nature, and culture in a single trip.
