To the north of the beach, a magnificent rocky formation stretching for 2km leads to Ponta da Galheta, and Morro da Calheta, located just behind the beach, completes the enchanting scenery.

Access to the beach is via a trail of approximately 1 km, starting from the SC406, just after the... Praia Mole. You can also access the beach from the northern headland of... Praia Mole.
