From March 20th to 23rd, 2026, Florianópolis becomes a giant open-air stage with the 12th edition of the Cultural Marathon, the largest free multicultural festival in Southern Brazil. Over four days, the program brings together 326 actions in more than 60 locations (68 addresses) spread across different regions of the city — from the Historic Center to Lagoa da Conceição, passing through the North of the Island, the Mainland and neighborhoods such as Coqueiros, Itaguaçu, Carvoeira, João Paulo, Campeche and Rio Tavares.

The proposal is simple yet powerful: to fill the city with culture in an integrated, decentralized, and accessible way. Music, cinema, theater, dance, literature, visual arts, workshops, exhibitions, parades, and educational activities invite residents and visitors to create their own itinerary and explore Florianópolis in a festival atmosphere.
