1. Lagoinha do Leste Trail (via Matadeiro)
We begin with one of the most coveted trails on the island! The Lagoinha do Leste Trail takes you on a unique journey through breathtaking landscapes. Approximately two and a half hours of hiking takes you from the right side of Matadeiro Beach to the paradisiacal Lagoinha do Leste Beach. The trail begins amidst lush vegetation that suddenly becomes low-lying, highlighting the bromeliads (gravatás).

Throughout the trail, incredible ocean views are revealed. At the end, the stunning view of the secluded Lagoinha do Leste beach and its enchanting lagoon await you as a reward.
For adventurers in better physical condition, we suggest climbing Morro da Coroa. Simply breathtaking!!!
Recommendation: We divide the route into two stages, Matadeiro-Lagoinha do Leste (outward journey) and Lagoinha do Leste-Pântano do Sul (return journey). This latter stage has a steep first section and a gentler second downhill section.

2. Shipwreck Trail
For a more cultural experience, the Shipwreck Trail is the perfect choice. With a semi-circular route of 7.5km, the first and last kilometers are the same length.

The suggestion is then to turn right at the end of Km 01, towards Forte Mal. Moura to see the cannon battery and then the Naufragados Lighthouse. From the batteries of the Fort or the Naufragados Lighthouse, panoramic views of the region are revealed, including part of the municipality of Palhoça and the beaches of Sonho, Pinheira and Ponta do Papagaio.

3. Lagoon Coast Trail
If you enjoy scenic and tranquil hikes, the Costa da Lagoa Trail is the perfect choice. Stretching 5.75 km from Canto dos Araçás to the waterfall, the trail runs along the shores of Lagoa da Conceição, passing through small fishing communities and offering spectacular views of the lagoon. Be enchanted by the old flour mill and the ruins of Dona Loquinha's house, just past Vila Verde (Point 6). Another attraction is the Costa da Lagoa waterfall, close to several lakeside restaurants where you can savor seafood delicacies.

4. Boa Vista Trail
Located on the east side of the island, the Boa Vista Trail is the ideal option for adventure and photography enthusiasts. The 3.64km trail takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes and offers incredible panoramic views of the eastern beaches of Santa Catarina Island, such as Galheta Beach, Mole Beach, Barra da Lagoa Beach, and a privileged view of Lagoa da Conceição. The trail begins at the Barra da Lagoa Fortress, near the Tamarutaca restaurant, and ends at the Barra da Lagoa bridge.

At the top of the trail you will find a large slab of rock where you can stop to admire the view and take lots of photographs.

5. Morro dos Ingleses Trail
The Morro dos Ingleses Trail begins on the right side of Praia dos Ingleses, near the Costão do Santinho Marina.
It is a moderately difficult trail due to the steepness of the initial and final sections. From the top of the hill, one can access a rock slab offering a panoramic view of Ingleses, Santinho, and Moçambique beaches, as well as the Ingleses and Santinho dunes.

Returning to the trail, the hiker will head towards Santinho Beach, on the left side, where the trail ends. From there, it's possible to access Santinho Beach or walk along the Ingleses dunes to the starting point of the trail.

6. Lampião Hill Trail
Located in the eastern region of the island, the Morro do Lampião Trail offers a slightly steeper and more challenging, but rewarding, hike. Approximately 2.5km long with an elevation gain of almost 200m, the trail takes about 1 hour (uphill). As you climb, spectacular views of the region's beaches and the Atlantic Ocean unfold. At the top of the hill, a breathtaking panoramic view of the Campeche neighborhood, Campeche beach, and the spectacular Campeche Island awaits you.

7. Spider Hill Trail

At the top, in addition to views of Rio Vermelho, Praia dos Ingleses with its dunes, and Praia do Santinho, you can also admire other regions located in the north of the island.
