O Museum Cafe, located in the building next to Museum of Florianopolis, The Café do Museu de Florianópolis offers a unique gastronomic experience. This is the ideal place for an espresso, a quick snack, or even a full meal. Come explore the Café do Museu de Florianópolis and immerse yourself in its themed menu, part of which is dedicated to authentic island cuisine.

The Museum Café captivates customers with a wide selection of sweets, savory snacks, drinks, and soups. The themed menu, inspired by the rich island cuisine, features a variety of snacks with affectionate, local names, adding a special local touch.

If you want to try the traditional crab cake, affectionately ask for a “Dazumbanho”. The meat cake has earned the nickname “Ó-lhó-lhó”, while the fish and shrimp cake is known as “És um monstro” (You're a monster). Even the mineral water has been affectionately nicknamed “Se tu dix” (If you say so).

Opening Hours: From December to February, the Museum Café is open Monday to Friday, from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm, and on weekends and holidays, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. From March to November, the hours are adjusted to Monday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, and on weekends and holidays, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please note that the Museum Café is closed to the public on Tuesdays.
