SATURDAY: trail, history and flavors by the lagoon 

Lagoa Coast Trail: a hike with history and nature. 

Start your Saturday with an unforgettable hike: the Lagoon Coast Trail, also known as the Lagoa Coast Trail to Canto dos Araçás. It is approximately 5.75 km long, with an average duration of 2 hours and an easy to moderate difficulty level. The trail runs along the coast of the area. Conceição Lagoon, Passing through a charming community full of history, with stretches of old cobblestone streets, a centuries-old sugar mill, and even a mansion built by enslaved people in 1780, you can feel that each step carries a bit of the island's soul. 

And after the trail… the reward! Arriving at the community of Lagoon Coast It's delightful: several restaurants with typical dishes and tables by the water, perfect for relaxing, savoring fresh fish or a shrimp platter. And if you get tired? No problem: just take one of Cooperbarco's boats back to the center of Lagoa. 

Afternoon: historic center, Santana Fort and Hercílio Luz Bridge 

Back in the city, take advantage of the afternoon to enjoy downtown Florianópolis at a leisurely pace. Stroll along Beira-Mar Norte, admire the view of the bay, and head to... Fort Santana, Built in 1761, this building offers one of the city's most historic landmarks, overlooking the North and South bays and steeped in the history of the revolts that shaped the island. Some even say that Tiradentes passed through there… 

Right next door is the majestic Hercílio Luz Bridge, One of Floripa's greatest icons, the bridge is shining again after a long restoration – and you can walk across it! It's a free and incredible walk to see the city from a different angle, with the sea at your feet and the cool breeze on your face. 

Evening: dinner at Top Market Floripa 

At night, the suggestion is to go to the Top Market Floripa, A modern and charming space inspired by the street mall concept. Located in the city center, it blends gastronomy, exclusive shops, and a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. How about trying the dishes at Levin or enjoying a glass of wine at Vin Guarna Wine Bar? It's the kind of place that's perfect for a more relaxed and cozy Saturday night. 

SUNDAY: coffee by the lagoon, sunset and seafood with a story 

Breakfast at Rocambole Café 

A winter Sunday calls for a hearty breakfast, right? The tip is to start the day with... Rocambole CafIt's right in the heart of Lagoa da Conceição. It's a charming little spot with welcoming service and a menu full of delicious treats: omelets, cheese bread, natural juices, and the house's famous chocolate cake. Perfect for warming your heart before continuing to explore the island. 

Sightseeing and lunch in Santo Antônio de Lisboa 

After coffee, head to Saint Anthony of Lisbon, one of the most charming and historic neighborhoods in the city. With calm seas and enchanting scenery, it's an invitation for leisurely walks, visits to craft shops, and of course… a good seafood lunch! Oh, and on Sundays you can also find the traditional Feira das Alfaias (Crafts Fair). 

And for lunch, our suggestion is... Oyster Bar & Restaurant Parish. In addition to the sensational sea view and sunset, the restaurant serves fresh oysters cultivated right there. It's the perfect combination of local cuisine and visual experience.
