To reach this hidden paradise, you need to cross the charming suspension bridge over the Barra Canal and follow the alley that leads to the residences. Although the path is somewhat steep and narrow, it takes no more than a five-minute walk to reach the golden sand of the beach.

With only one restaurant-bar on site, located at the top of the hill but with easy access to the beach, Prainha offers a limited selection of gastronomic options. During the high season, some stalls also set up, offering corn, juices, sandwiches and other delicacies.

The proximity to the Barra Canal and Barra da Lagoa itself adds a special touch to the experience at Prainha. Furthermore, also known as Prainha do Leste, this small strip of sand, only 70 meters long, is famous for the lively samba that fills Saturday afternoons at the only beachfront establishment.
