Come and discover Saint Paulina Sanctuary in Nova Trento, a sacred place that has enchanted pilgrims from all over Brazil and the world since the beatification of Mother Paulina by Pope John Paul II in 1991.
The history of this sanctuary began with the need to welcome the faithful who came seeking graces and to give thanks to the first Saint of Brazil. Construction began in 2002 and was completed in 2006, with an architectural design that reflects the life trajectory of Saint Paulina, a woman of exemplary spirituality and kindness.
With a constructed area of approximately 9,000m², the temple has the capacity to accommodate up to 3,000 seated people and another 3,000 standing. The Sanctuary is not only a place of prayer, but also an ecological park, where visitors can enjoy the lush nature of the region, with its forests, waterfalls, animals and beautiful trails.
In addition to the religious structure, the complex offers its own restaurant, lodging, and a souvenir shop, so that all who visit the Sanctuary can enjoy special moments and take home a memento of this unique experience.
