The trail begins at Barra da Lagoa and, after passing a rocky viewpoint, it takes visitors to the top of the trail, where they can appreciate the eastern beaches, the Galheta beach, Praia Mole and a privileged view of Conceição Lagoon. But the wonders don't stop there; it's also possible to see the dunes that begin at Avenida das Rendeiras and extend to... Joaquina Beach.

The trail ends at the stunning Galheta beach, There, you can take a refreshing dip after the hike, or you can finish the trail at the Barra Fortress, near the canal, and then enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants in the area.

But attention: vegetation along the trail is low and sparse, so don't forget to wear sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. And watch out for Gravatás, a low-lying plant with lots of thorns, so wear clothes that protect your body.

Tip: To begin the Boa Vista Trail, you must cross the "suspension bridge" over the canal. Barra da Lagoa and turn right. Follow the signs and then stay on the main road.

 Parking information: If you have a car, there are options for free spaces and private parking, close to the “suspension bridge” of Canal da Barra.
