A Buraca Waterfall trail It is a true hidden treasure in the heart of Serra de São Miguel Municipal Natural Park. Created in 2017 by Law No. 3,752, the park is managed by the Municipal Environmental Foundation of Biguaçu (FAMABI) and encompasses the neighborhoods of Saudade, Prado, São Miguel, and Tijuquinhas, totaling an area of 1,226 hectares belonging to the Atlantic Forest Biome.

The Buraca Waterfall trail is one of the park's attractions and is ideal for nature and adventure lovers. With its exuberant beauty, the trail leads to a beautiful waterfall with a shallow pool of crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming.

The trail begins near the CASAN Water Treatment Plant (ETA) in the São Miguel neighborhood. It is located in the northeastern region of the park and is 1.29 km long.

It was a trail commonly used by illegal hunters, and after the creation of the Park, it began to be used by FAMABI and agents of the Environmental Military Police for environmental inspection and monitoring of wildlife.
