A Gravatá Beach Trail This trail offers an exciting journey for nature lovers and adventurers. Rated as easy to moderate difficulty, it's approximately 1.4 km long to the beach, or 1.95 km from the starting point on SC406 to the impressive "Pedrão do Gravatá," a large rock formation on the hillside located past the beach, featuring an intriguing "bed" within the rock.
The trailhead, starting from SC406, challenges visitors with a steep climb of approximately 60 meters of elevation gain in the first 400 meters of the route. However, once this initial incline is overcome, the trail becomes gentler, with small ascents and, mainly, descents, as it approaches the beach.
Upon conquering the climb, a reward awaits explorers to the left: a viewpoint offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the beaches. Soft It is Cruet. This spot is also known as the starting point for paragliders, providing the best view of the famous "Indian" mentioned in the song "Tribo da Lua" by Dazaranha. As the song suggests:
“"So that no one can see or hear."
On one side a dragon, on the other an Indian.
The moon in the background for the smiling figure…”.
Continuing for another 1000 meters, the trail leads adventurers to Gravatá Beach, one of the most pristine and wild beaches on Santa Catarina Island. This beach offers incredible opportunities for swimming and snorkeling, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the crystal-clear waters.
For those who appreciate spectacular views, the journey can continue to the natural pools and the "Pedrão do Gravatá" rock formation. The Gravatá Beach trail is a unique experience that combines challenge, scenic beauty, and the opportunity to connect with the untouched nature of Santa Catarina. Therefore, prepare for an unforgettable adventure in this stunning setting.
