Florianópolis receives, on May 27, 2026, the show Brazilian Orchestra – Clube da Esquina Special, no Ademir Rosa Theater – CIC. The presentation invites the audience to experience a night dedicated to Brazilian music, with contemporary reinterpretations of songs that marked generations.
Under the artistic and musical direction of conductor Luiz Gustavo Zago, the Brazilian Orchestra presents original arrangements for classics immortalized by names such as Milton Nascimento, Lô Borges, Fernando Brant, and Márcio Borges. The show celebrates the poetic, emotional, and musical essence of Clube da Esquina, a movement that marked the history of national music with its creative freedom, harmonic sophistication, and depth in its compositions.
With an ensemble featuring guitars, cavaquinho, mandolin, flutes, accordion, saxophone, piano, double bass, drums, and popular percussion, the performance merges the power of classical music with the sensitivity of Brazilian popular music. More than a tribute, the show proposes an emotional reunion with works that continue to transcend generations.
